A group of people has demonstrated in Lanzarote for the end of the war in Palestine. The concentration took place this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in front of the PSOE headquarters in Arrecife and was convened by the Lanzarote Solidarity Coordinator with the Palestinian People.

During the protest, the Coordinator delivered a bouquet of black roses as a sign of mourning at the socialist headquarters, located at Doctor Juan Negrín Street, number 158 in the capital of Lanzarote. Along with these roses, they also delivered a petition to the central government, requesting the end of arms trade with Israel, the full recognition of the sovereignty of the Palestinian people, a permanent ceasefire, and a guarantee for the entry of humanitarian aid and compliance with international human rights treaties.

According to the Coordinator, "this is not a political act against the PSOE, but a national mobilization organized by the Solidarity Network Against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP), to deliver the writings to those who currently hold power in Spain."
