A boat with 58 people rescued near Lanzarote at dawn

Among the migrants there are 45 men, seven women and six minors

A boat with 58 people, 6 of them minors, of sub-Saharan origin has been rescued this morning by Maritime Rescue.

On the boat were traveling 45 men, 7 women in addition to the 6 minors. All of them, in good condition, have been transferred to the Commercial dock of Arrecife where they have been assisted by the Red Cross, as reported by CECOEC. The NGO has confirmed that no transfer to a hospital center has been necessary.

This is the third boat that arrives to the island of Lanzarote in less than 24 hours, last Tuesday two boats arrived with 70 people in total, also in good health.
