A boat intercepted north of Lanzarote

There were 35 people on board the boat, including 4 women and two minors.

A new boat has been intercepted at approximately 7:00 am on June 24 in international waters north of Órzola de Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

There were 35 people on board the boat, 29 men, 4 women and two minors, all of Maghrebi origin.

The Guardamar Polimnia of Maritime Rescue has gone in search of them to transfer them to Puerto Naos where they have been assisted by the Red Cross on land. After the evaluation of the occupants of the boat, three of them have been evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for different pathologies.

This is the seventh boat that has been intercepted near the coasts of Lanzarote.
