A 6-year-old child with Covid dies in Tenerife

The Canary Islands have added 107 cases and two deaths this Monday, one of them the minor and another of a 56-year-old man

The grim statistic of deaths with Covid has added two more deaths in the Canary Islands this Monday and one of them is of a child of only 6 years old, who resided in Tenerife. The other victim is a 56-year-old man who died in Gran Canaria. According to the Ministry of Health, both had "previous serious pathologies".

Regarding the new cases diagnosed, the Canary Islands has notified 107 on this day, of which more than half are concentrated in Tenerife. Specifically, that island has added 64, while Gran Canaria has registered 33. It is followed by Lanzarote with 11 and La Palma with 2. El Hierro and La Gomera have not added cases, while in Fuerteventura three have been deducted "due to statistical adjustment".

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 39.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 85.57 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
