The Yaiza City Council published last Monday, August 21 in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas the call and specific bases to incorporate two agent positions on a commission basis for the Local Police, a selective process that the Institution carries out by virtue of its adherence to the cooperation agreement between the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, through the Ministry of Public Administrations, Justice and Security, and the Canary Federation of Municipalities (FECAM) by which the delegation of the powers of the municipalities of the Canary Islands for the selection processes in the local police forces is implemented.
Óscar Noda reports that "as we argued in the Resolution, we intend to improve the citizen security service through this commission of services procedure that allows us to accelerate the connection of two agents to work for a period of six months, although exceptionally the service period could be extended to eighteen months."
Last July, Yaiza took possession of an agent on a commission basis who worked in the Community of Madrid, being the third incorporation during the last ten months for a staff of thirty-three agents who will now add two more to reach thirty-five.
