The Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism have published the bases of the call for the project that will be financed with the entire proceeds from the tickets of the II edition of Cangrejos Albinos, the series of talks coordinated and presented by the journalist Ángeles Blanco. They can be consulted in the following link.
“Despite its youth, Cangrejos Albinos has already consolidated itself as a cultural, educational, and this year, participatory and solidarity initiative, which helps to build community and island identity,” explained the Minister of Tourist Centers, Ángel Vázquez.
Interested entities must submit an explanatory report detailing the scope of action, the objectives of the project, its impact on the territory and the execution plan, as well as the planned goals and objectives.
The initiatives must have a direct or indirect impact on Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
All legally constituted non-profit entities registered in their corresponding registry as Foundations, Associations, Federations, or other Organizations may opt to participate.
II edition of Cangrejos Albinos
The second edition of Cangrejos Albinos, which is held at the Jameos del Agua Auditorium, incorporates a strong solidarity character by allocating the entire amount of the tickets to the implementation of a project chosen by vote by the initiative's community.
The next protagonist of Cangrejos Albinos 2026 will be the renowned chef Quique Dacosta, in July. The athlete Carolina Marín, in September, and the actor Paco León, in November, will complete an edition that premiered in March with the singer Luz Casal.
Consolidated as one of the most unique cultural formats on the island, Cangrejos Albinos offers intimate encounters with national reference figures in a unique setting such as Jameos del Agua.
