The Arrecife City Council has "intensified" the cleaning services of the capital this summer, works that are "being carried out neighborhood by neighborhood with contracted personnel" through the Social Employment Agreement (17 operators) in coordination with the company Urbaser.
"Over the past few weeks, intensive cleaning work has already been carried out in various public spaces in Valterra and Los Alonso, and this week, the staff is working in the Lomo neighborhood," the City Council reports. Likewise, the street cleaning service has been "reinforced, which throughout the month of August will have three trucks (two in the morning and one in the afternoon/night)," he adds.
Yonathan De León has stated that "during this new term, one of his priorities as mayor, and together with his government group, will be to redouble the presence of personnel and resources to intensify cleaning in all the neighborhoods of the capital."
