Adislan has been one of the eight services selected to participate in an innovative research project called 'Early Care and Professional Development. Reducing the gap between Research and Practice', on early care at the national level financed by the Island Council of Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands.

On July 20, it began with the first face-to-face training day at the Adislan headquarters, and will extend until August 2024. At the end, the Enabling Professional Development program and the tools will be made available to the Early Care (EC) sector so that both professionals and centers can evaluate the transfer of these evidence-based practices to their professional context.

The purpose of this public service, mainly financed by the Island Council of Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands and managed by Adislan with a trajectory of more than 20 years, is to provide preventive and/or therapeutic care to boys and girls from 0 to 6 years old with disabilities or at risk of suffering from them and their families.

The objective of the project is to "promote the adoption and use of practices based on scientific evidence" by early care professionals, based on the implementation and evaluation of a professional development training plan. The designed training plan is oriented towards building capacities and transferring said knowledge into daily professional practice.
