A woman had to be evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital after inhaling smoke in a house fire in Costa Teguise, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The fire occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. this Friday in the house located on Los Pinos street in the coastal town.
Upon arrival, the firefighters were informed by the homeowner that there was no longer any fire or smoke. However, the emergency personnel proceeded to disconnect the ceramic hob and the oven, which were the source of the fire.
The healthcare staff attended to the woman, who was unwell due to smoke inhalation, and she was transferred by ambulance to Molina Orosa.
