A 53-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being run over this Thursday in Puerto del Carmen. The affected woman has been transferred to the hospital with a severe head injury.
The accident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. on the aforementioned road in the tourist town, according to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2, which received an alert at that time reporting the accident.
A SUC medicalized ambulance and local police officers were dispatched to the scene. SUC personnel assessed the victim and transported her in the ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. The Local Police were in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures.
