The woman E.H. F., 37 years old and a native of Tenerife, has been arrested by the Civil Guard of the San Bartolomé Post accused of a crime of theft.

A statement from the armed institute explains that a resident of San Bartolomé reported the disappearance of the tombstone located in the tomb of his son who died a few months ago, and which was located in the San Bartolomé cemetery.

The investigations carried out by the Civil Guard resulted in the recovery of the aforementioned tombstone and the arrest of the perpetrator of said theft.

A debt incurred by the Funeral Home with the woman who made said tombstone seems to have motivated the theft of the same, despite the fact that the complainant had paid all the costs of his son's burial.
