A total of seven towns in Lanzarote are suffering water cuts this Wednesday morning. This was reported by Canal Gestión on its website.

The town of Haría will be without supply during today, in addition to the towns of Los Valles, Nazaret and El Mojón, all three in Teguise. Also, El Cuchillo and La Vegueta, in Tinajo.

To conclude, the town of Maciot in Yaiza will also have no supply. "If your domestic supply is close to one of these points, it is very likely that it will be affected by the eventual interruption," added the company in charge of water management on the island.

Canal Gestión and the Water Consortium have assured that they are working on an Emergency Action Plan, with the aim of finding "immediate" solutions and restoring normality to the water service.
