A public transport user has reported to La Voz a vandal act on a bus in Puerto del Carmen.
The events took place around 7:30 p.m. on last Saturday. The bus was going up Reina Sofía street in the coastal town of Tías, making its intercity route.
At that moment, the driver realized that some object was burning inside the transport. After finding the problem in one of the bus seats, he proceeded to extinguish the flames with the help of a fire extinguisher. The vehicle then had to be immobilized to clean up the damage and prevent other passengers from being poisoned by smoke inhalation.
As for the author or authors of the vandalism, they could not be identified because the bus had few passengers on that route.
