The Civil Guard of Tías arrested this Tuesday, June 13, two people with initials D.A.B., 25 years old, and J.G.B., 32, both of Spanish nationality and with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health after being seized 32.857 grams of cocaine and 2,244 euros in cash.
The agents of the Tías post, who were carrying out prevention work against the consumption and possession of psychotropic substances on public roads, stopped a suspicious vehicle in Puerto del Carmen. They identified the two occupants of the car, where they finally found the drugs and money. Therefore, they were immediately arrested for an alleged drug trafficking offense.
The arrested, together with the substance and the money, have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court, on guard duty, of the town of Arrecife.
