Two more boats arrive at dawn at the Commercial Dock of Lanzarote

86 immigrants of sub-Saharan origin were traveling in the boats, including a baby who has been transferred to the hospital

Maritime Rescue rescued two more boats near Lanzarote early this Thursday morning.

According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, 45 and 41 immigrants were traveling in the boats respectively, all of sub-Saharan origin.

The occupants of the boats were transferred to the commercial dock of Arrecife, where they arrived at around 05:50 hours, and were attended by the Red Cross. 

Among the rescued people there are 60 men, 21 women and five minors. One of them, a baby, was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
