The Local Police of Arrecife managed to locate last Saturday two men investigated for a crime against road safety, after having fled after colliding with another vehicle.
It was the driver of the other car who called the Police, providing the characteristics of the vehicle that had fled the scene of the accident. According to the City Council, the agents managed to locate it "after a few minutes", thanks to that description and citizen collaboration.
When they were intercepted, both were given a breathalyzer test, one of them showing a rate of 1.37, that is, more than six times above what is allowed. "Police investigations revealed that both had taken the car," they specify from the body.
In addition, both lacked a driver's license, so the Police sent the proceedings to the Courts.
