The National Police arrested two men this Tuesday in the province of Las Palmas for their alleged participation in the leaking of addresses, telephone numbers, ID numbers and email addresses of ministers and socialist militants and those involved in the Koldo case.

According to the National Police on its X social network, the investigation, carried out by the National Court, is under summary secrecy directed by Magistrate Francisco de Jorge after agents found last week in a Telegram channel personal data of several ministers, the president of Congress, Francina Armengol, the president of the Generalitat Cataluña, Salvador Illa, and those involved in the Koldo case.

Among those affected are also journalists, as well as the former number three of the PSOE Santos Cerdán, the former minister José Luis Ábalos, his former advisor Koldo García and the businessman and alleged commission agent Víctor de Aldama, all four investigated in the Supreme Court for the so-called Koldo case.

This would be a second data leak after a first dissemination of confidential information occurred on June 19 in a Telegram channel that affected other members of the Government such as Vice President María Jesús Montero, ministers Fernando Grande-Marlaska, Óscar Puente, Luis Planas, Diana Morant, Ana Redondo and Elma Saiz, and also former PP leaders such as María Dolores de Cospedal or Rafael Catalá, among others.

This first leak occurred from a Telegram channel with more than 92,000 followers and were published by a user who identifies himself in the channel with a pseudonym and were republished by another user later.
