Two women have been injured, one with minor injuries and the other with moderate injuries, in a traffic accident this Wednesday morning on the road between San Bartolomé and Playa Honda, passing the karting track.
The vehicle left the road and ended up overturning around 07:10 hours on the LZ-303, leaving both people trapped inside. Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters verified that the driver had managed to remove her seatbelt and the passenger was still hanging from it, so they proceeded to extricate them and the paramedics took care of checking the condition of the injuries.
The driver, 41 years old, presented with mild cervicalgia and her companion a moderate traumatic brain injury, so both were transferred in a basic and a medicalized ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Personnel from the Civil Guard and the Local Police of San Bartolomé also traveled to the area, who were in charge of cutting off the road down towards Playa Honda while the firefighters secured the vehicle and the people involved were attended to.
