Two cars, a discretionary transport bus and a van collided this Wednesday on the LZ-2 road, at the height of the Barranco del Agua, at a point located between the Yaiza Institute and the Lanzarote a Caballo leisure establishment. In all the vehicles only the drivers were traveling, who initially did not present serious injuries despite the strong impact, according to the Yaiza City Council in a statement.
However, the driver of the van, a 53-year-old man, was slightly injured. After the accident, he complained of chest and neck pain, so he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, in Arrecife.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Civil Guard, Yaiza Civil Protection and Yaiza Local Police have traveled to the scene of the accident. Yaiza Civil Protection received the alert from a neighbor who was passing through the area after 8:00 a.m., and who saw this accident.
