The Local Police of Teguise arrested two people on April 8 for their participation in a robbery with force in the water tanks that the company Canal Gestión has installed in the town of Soo.
According to the police force, it was a neighbor who raised the alarm, seeing that two individuals were loading material from the tank into a vehicle, of which he provided the data, and that they were already preparing to leave the area.
Local Police officers moved "quickly" to the scene, locating and intercepting the described vehicle and its two occupants, a man and a woman, in the town of Mozaga. Inside the car, the agents found four batteries for solar panels, two of them hidden under a blanket.
After the appropriate procedures, the agents were able to verify that the batteries found in the vehicle corresponded to those stolen from the Soo water tanks, whose perimeter fence and the padlock of one of the doors had been "violated."
Therefore, the Local Police proceeded to arrest E.C.R and S.O.G. for an alleged crime of robbery with force in things and both were placed at the disposal of the Costa Teguise Civil Guard post with the corresponding proceedings.
