Two arrested after trying to disembark 470 kilos of cocaine in La Santa

Civil Guard agents arrested two people in the early hours of this Sunday after attempting to disembark some 470 kilos of cocaine in La Santa, as confirmed by the press office of the Benemérita once the 402 packages seized had been weighed. Apparently, the events occurred around 03.15 hours this Sunday. A Civil Guard patrol from Costa Teguise, which was in the area carrying out surveillance work, as it is an area of the coast prone to the landing of illegal boats with narcotic substances, noticed the noise of a boat. The civil guards followed it by land to the dock of La Santa where they surprised three people while disembarking about 400 kilos of "pure" cocaine. The fiber boat belongs to one of the detainees.

The two detainees are one of foreign nationality, whose initials are O.R.O. and another of Spanish nationality, which responds to the initials R.H.N. In addition, according to sources of the investigation, the third person involved, who fled the scene, has been fully identified. The Civil Guard is "already working on his location and arrest". All of them as alleged perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime.
