The incident generated an evident risk of the structure falling onto the roadwayThe operation was carried out at the request of the Local Police, who were already at the scene and proceeded to close two lanes of traffic to ensure safety during the intervention. The Consortium's personnel secured the traffic light with a rope attached to the arm of the aerial ladder, subsequently proceeding to disconnect it and unscrew it from the base to lower it to the ground in a controlled mannerOnce removed, municipal workers cut the structure into three parts with shears to facilitate its removal. The bolts at the base were marked with a cone and screwed to the ground to prevent risks, with the operation completed by cleaning plastic debris from the street.
