A fire broke out on Wednesday morning, affecting the tractor unit of an articulated vehicle traveling on the LZ-20, at kilometer 3, in the municipality of ArrecifeThe Security and Emergency Consortium acted quickly, managing to extinguish the flames with water and foam and restore normality to the road after the removal of the crashed vehicle.According to the Consortium of Security and Emergencies, the alert was received at 10:09 AM and personnel from the Central Fire Station were dispatched to the scene, working on a Level 2 incident. Once the fire was under control, the tractor unit was towed by a crane to the location indicated by its owner, under escort by the Fire Department, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police, while the trailer was removed by another vehicle, allowing the road to be fully reopened and the operation to be concluded without any personal injuries.
