A 61-year-old man died on the morning of this Saturday, September 6, after falling from a height of about six meters on Isaac Albéniz Street, in the municipality of Arrecife.
The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 received the alert at 09:16 hours, reporting that a person had fallen onto the public road.
Two ambulances from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) —one medicalized and one basic life support—, as well as National Police and Local Police officers, immediately went to the scene.
Upon arrival, the medical personnel verified that the man was in cardiorespiratory arrest, initiating basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers. However, despite the efforts made, it was not possible to reverse the situation and his death was confirmed at the scene of the incident.
