A British tourist who traveled to Lanzarote to celebrate his bachelor party ended up in a coma after suffering a fall in Puerto del Carmen last May, according to the medium Express.

The events date back to May 1, when the 25-year-old arrived on the island and decided to go out for drinks with his friends in the tourist town. During this first day in Puerto del Carmen, he went to where one of his friends was, who was sitting on a wall. According to the medium, the tourist sat on the wall and it gave way because it was in poor condition.

The tourist fell from a height of six meters and suffered severe trauma to his head when he hit the pavement, causing a large hemorrhage that his friends tried to contain until the arrival of emergency services.

An ambulance arrived at the scene and took him to the Hospital José Molina Orosa, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a coma due to the cerebral hemorrhage he suffered. He also had a fracture behind his ear, a broken collarbone, and a fractured sternum.

His fiancée, 27, traveled urgently to Lanzarote after learning what happened until May 19, when they were able to travel back to their country. "I literally screamed when I found out," she said.

Thanks to the fact that the young man had medical insurance, it covered all his expenses after his hospital admission. Now, Dan is on sick leave and recovering at home with his future wife. In addition, his family has created a GoFundMe campaign to help the couple with their wedding expenses, which will be on July 3.

Although the Briton is recovering favorably, he admits that he will have to walk down the aisle in a wheelchair, as he still gets tired and dizzy easily.
