The Local Police of Tías arrested three people last weekend for drug trafficking in a commercial area of Puerto del Carmen.
In the intervention, the agents seized a total of 178 grams of different narcotic substances, which included cocaine, pink cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, amphetamines and marijuana.
According to the City Council, the drugs "were separated into different quantities and prepared for sale."
In addition, the agents also seized a mobile phone "of unknown origin."
The three detainees were transferred to the Local Police facilities, where the corresponding proceedings were carried out, and were later placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
