The Civil Guard arrested three people last May 3 after surprising them 'red-handed' when they allegedly committed a robbery in a house in Yaiza. They are A.P.M., 41 years old, J.M.P.M, 21 years old, and A.J.H.S., 19 years old, who were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force in the degree of attempt.
In that police action, which the Benemérita carried out in collaboration with the Local Police of Yaiza, these three people were "surprised inside a house in the town of Yaiza", explains the police force in a statement. It also highlights that they could be arrested "thanks to citizen collaboration and the rapid action of the agents involved."
The detainees, according to the Civil Guard, forced the rear entrance of the house, after jumping over the wall of the house. The agents verified at that moment that they were preparing to steal a television, as well as several objects, which they already had "prepared to take them away with a vehicle, which they had ready to flee in the vicinity of the house."
Therefore, A.P.M., J.M.P.M and A.J.H.S. were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force in the degree of attempt and "avoiding with this action the subtraction of the effects", says the Civil Guard. The three were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court in charge of Arrecife.
