The National Police arrests two men in Arrecife wanted by the Justice of Italy and Sweden

The detainees had European Arrest Warrants for Extradition, both with records and one of them with a prison sentence of 6 years

The National Police arrested two men of Italian and Swedish nationality this Wednesday in Arrecife, respectively, for having European search and arrest warrants in force.

The two detainees had a European Arrest Warrant for Extradition, at the request of their countries of origin and, after several steps taken by agents of the National Police, it was learned that the men, 41 and 31 years old, resided in the capital of Lanzarote.

The detainee of Italian nationality had a request for 7 years in prison, for the crimes of criminal organization and environmental crimes, while the detainee of Swedish nationality was accused of various fraud crimes and had a final sentence of 6 years in prison.

The agents proceeded to arrest both of them and they were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority and the Central Court of Instruction decreed their entry into prison for subsequent transfer to Italy and Sweden respectively, in accordance with current European legislation.
