The National Police arrest two men for the theft of numerous construction tools

National Police agents arrested two men, aged 19 and 46, in Arrecife, both with police records, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force.

The events unfolded following a report from a man stating that upon returning to his vehicle, which he had left parked on a street in Arrecife, he found that it had been forced open.

All the tools he had stored inside, including construction tools and other electronic devices, had disappeared.

The complainant immediately located the stolen tools, as they had been put up for sale on the Internet through a well-known Social Network.

Police investigations allowed the identification and location of two men, aged 19 and 46, as alleged perpetrators, who were arrested hours later for a robbery with force. All the tools were recovered by the national police officers and returned to their rightful owner.

The corresponding police report was prepared and sent to the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
