A man was found dead this Tuesday in his home in Arrecife, where he would have died days ago, apparently from "natural causes." As confirmed to La Voz from the National Police, it was his neighbors who raised the alarm, since they had not seen him for at least four days and he did not respond when they knocked on the door.
After receiving the notice, police officers went to the address and upon entering, they found this person dead. Now, the corresponding autopsy will be performed to determine the causes of death, which in principle is not attributed to any violent cause.
Personnel from the Security and Emergency Consortium have also had to go to the address, since the Police requested their help to carry out the transfer of the body. As pointed out by the Consortium, the staircase of the building was "too narrow", so they had to evacuate the body from the attic with the help of a ladder truck.
The intervention took place shortly before 10:30 a.m. this Tuesday on Agustín Espinosa Street in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood, and the judicial transfer team took charge of the deceased once he was evacuated from the home by the firefighters.
