The worsening of the weather in the Canary Islands has meant that air traffic to the archipelago's airports is not allowed and planes en route will be diverted to alternative destinations, according to Aena.
At the moment, the Gran Canaria and Lanzarote Airports do not accept incoming or outgoing flights because the haze and visibility conditions do not allow them to operate.
Also, inter-island flights have been suspended and only flights that were close to the islands have been able to land in Fuerteventura and Tenerife South.
