The GES helicopter rescues a woman injured after suffering a fall in Montaña Roja

The 67-year-old injured woman has been transferred to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital

A 67-year-old woman has been rescued after suffering a fall near the crater of Montaña Roja in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES).

The incident occurred at approximately 13:04 this Saturday, when 112 received an alert requesting medical assistance for a woman who had suffered a fall and had trauma to her leg.

The GES helicopter, a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, the Emergency Consortium, and the Local Police have been dispatched to the scene.

The GES helicopter rescued the woman, and subsequently, an ambulance from the SUC took charge of her transfer to the emergency service of the Molina Orosa Hospital.
