The Civil Guard is searching the Punta Fariones area, near Órzola, where they located the 14 irregular Moroccan immigrants who had reached the island's coast in a boat last Wednesday, in which they indicated that more people were traveling.
The immigrants, 11 adults, 2 minors and a pregnant woman, who was transferred by the Red Cross to the General Hospital of Lanzarote where she remains admitted, were located at about 4:30 in the afternoon. The Civil Guard handed over the detainees to the National Police Corps of Arrecife.
