The Civil Guard of Lanzarote arrested on the 21st a person who entered by deceiving a minor in a private home in the town of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza. The now detained sexually abused the child's mother, whom he also seriously injured.
According to a note released by the Civil Guard, once inside the property, the individual threatened the minor and his mother with a large knife, locking the child in a room while in another room of the house he sexually assaulted the woman, M.G.D., 45 years old and a native of Galicia, causing very serious injuries, which forced the urgent transfer of the victim to the Doctor Negrín hospital in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Upon learning of the events, the Civil Guard initiated a search operation for the arrest of the alleged perpetrator, which was carried out two hours after the events occurred. The now detained responds to the initials S.A., 32 years old and of Moroccan origin. Evidence was collected at the scene of the attack, which together with the detainee were placed at the disposal of the court, ordering his imprisonment.
