The Civil Guard of Lanzarote arrested three people as alleged perpetrators of two crimes of robbery with force and another of robbery with violence and intimidation in the town of Tías. The reported events, with no apparent connection between them, occurred within a period of twenty days.

Agents from the Tías Investigation Area arrested H.F.P.O. on Wednesday, October 21st, of Colombian origin, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force carried out last Sunday inside a laundromat located in a shopping center in the tourist area of Puerto del Carmen.

On Wednesday the 14th, a complaint is received at the Tías station for a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, by an Irish woman who was on vacation on the Island. After the searches carried out by the investigation agents, A.J.M.G. was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the robbery.

And on October 3rd, at a service station in Yaiza, after forcing the rear access door to the cafeteria, an individual stole 393 euros in cash, various merchandise, and the money that was inside the vending machines. The total value of the assault amounted to 2,240 euros. Regarding this last event, Civil Guard agents arrested J.M.F.T., a native of Arrecife, as the alleged perpetrator of robbery with force. The proceedings, recovered objects, and detainees in the three actions were handed over to the Arrecife Court of Instruction.
