The Civil Guard arrested last Thursday the alleged perpetrator of two attempted robberies that took place on the night of August 21 in the municipality of San Bartolomé. Specifically, the detainee tried to rob an establishment, the frozen food company Africamar, and a home, although he did not succeed. The detainee, with initials J.F.F.P. and a native of the area, is "known" among the police forces, explain from the Civil Guard. On Friday he was brought to justice and released on charges.
The events for which this man has been arrested occurred during the same night. In both cases, the detainee failed to "take anything", they point out from the Benemérita. In these two attempted robberies he was scared away by the neighbors, who in one of the cases threatened to call the police to dissuade him.
That same night of August 21, according to the Benemérita, there were other attempted robberies in the municipality. One of them in a fruit shop, which dawned with various damages to its facade. However, although the Civil Guard has investigated the possible participation of the detainee in this event, for the moment it has only been able to relate him to the attempted robberies in Africamar and in a home. The Local Police of San Bartolomé collaborated in all these actions.
