The three hundred Emergency personnel, including members of the Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection and some volunteer citizens, who make up the search device for Yéremi Vargas, will continue throughout the day this Monday with the work of locating the missing person, carrying out search work in the urban areas of Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
Throughout these last days, personnel from most of the municipalities of Gran Canaria have joined the device and have searched the entire municipality.
With the help of a helicopter from the Canary Islands Emergency Service Cecoes, they have "combed" the entire area and will continue to use it today during this new day.
The personnel that make up the device are overcoming, as they can, the accumulated fatigue, after so many hours of work. For them, according to the Civil Protection Coordinator in Santa Lucía, "the worst thing is to continue without news of the child".
The Santa Lucía City Council is collaborating with the family in the editing and printing of posters that have been distributed throughout the southern area of the island, fundamentally. In this sense, it is planned that this Monday the print run will be increased to continue with the distribution in the rest of the island.
In the photo you can see a very recent image of Yéremi, who at the time of his disappearance was wearing an orange shirt with brown inlays and beige mid-length pants.
His disappearance occurred on Saturday around 1:30 p.m. while he was playing with his cousins in a solar next to his house. In a matter of a few minutes they lost sight of him, and so far there is no reliable clue as to his whereabouts.
