The Teguise City Council has decreed the suspension of the La Villa Market and the closure of municipal outdoor sports, cultural and leisure facilities.
Given the declaration by the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands of the activation of the alert situation due to adverse weather phenomena due to winds, and considering that said phenomenon could pose a serious danger to users of municipal outdoor facilities, as well as to attendees and workers of the Teguise Market, the Teguise City Council has announced by decree the suspension of the celebration of the Teguise Market for this Sunday, February 23, as well as the closure of all municipal outdoor sports, cultural and leisure facilities, with the suspension of all activities to be carried out in them.
