National Police agents in Arrecife have arrested six men between 29 and 38 years of age, with police records, as alleged perpetrators of an assault.

In the early hours of February 5, in the La Marina leisure area, two assaults took place involving several individuals and three people were injured.

Following the complaints filed, an investigation was carried out by agents of the National Police, who, after the statements of the victims and witnesses of the events, as well as the proceedings carried out by the agents, identified the alleged perpetrators of both assaults.

The altercations were caused by several workers from the leisure venues and their friends, martial arts practitioners, against several young people who were in the area. One of the aggressors immobilized a man with the "lion killer" technique and another caused serious injuries to the face of another of them.

Once located, the six men were arrested as alleged perpetrators of an assault and placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
