Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire this Wednesday night that affected several piles of pallets on a farm in Teguise.
After being alerted by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, the firefighters went to the scene of the fire, near the Cepsa gas station in La Villa. Once there, they proceeded to extinguish some piles that still had pallets unburned, while those that only had embers were left to burn, since they were in an open field "without risk", according to the Consortium.
To enter the farm, the firefighters cut a padlock that they replaced when leaving, leaving the keys at the Local Police station.
