Scare on Famara beach after alerting that a person was missing in the water, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The notice was received at 18:19 by the CECOES, which led to a rapid displacement from La Graciosa with the M5 and from Arrecife with the M2 to the scene of the incident. The objective was to carry out the rescue as soon as possible.
Although the S 11 vessel was activated, it could not participate in the rescue due to the distance. Upon arriving at the scene, the rescue teams assessed the situation and found the person already out of the water, next to the shore.
An initial assessment of her health was carried out to determine if a transfer to the hospital center was necessary. In addition, psychological and emotional support was provided to both the rescued person and her family members, who were very affected.
Once the assessment of the injured person was completed, all the information was passed to the Cecoes and the injured person was accompanied to their vehicle. On the road, an ambulance from a private company was found that carried out another assessment, finding the person in perfect health.
The Local Police of Teguise also acted in the device.
