The Local Police of Tías rescued a man residing in the municipality who had suffered a stroke in his home and whose neighbors had not seen for several days, so they alerted the authorities.
When the agents arrived at the address, they realized that he might be in difficulty by not answering calls, but they were certain that he was inside. After forcing a window, the agents located the man paralyzed in an armchair, who was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital.
The man had suffered a stroke and had been immobilized for several days, so the police action managed to save his life. According to the Police, "it is significant that in recent months there has been an increase in this type of assistance service, not always having an outcome as expected."
