Agents of the National Police Corps of the Local Police Station of Maspalomas have arrested José R. A., 77 years old, from Telde and without a criminal record, and Juan Pino S. S., 46 years old, from Las Palmas and with two previous arrests, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of corruption of minors.

The investigation work led to the knowledge that the septuagenarian José gained the trust of several young women, some of them minors and mostly interned in juvenile centers, whom he convinced to accompany him to Juan Pino's home.

Once there, both detainees had sexual relations with them, paying them an amount of money in exchange, Juan Pino carrying out his actions inside the home and José in a van parked in the vicinity.

Once all the circumstances were clarified and determined, recently the so-called Juan Pino was arrested in the area of ​​Matorral Bajo de San Bartolomé de Tirajana, when he was in the company of a minor, 15 years old, and other people, and then the aforementioned José was arrested.

The detainees, together with the proceedings instructed, were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
