The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium has reported that, on the morning of Thursday, August 14, personnel from the La Graciosa Fire Department were activated to collaborate with the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) in a health transfer.
The initial alert, registered at 9:03 a.m., requested support to transfer a person to a boat. However, during the course of the intervention, firefighters received a new warning about a person in respiratory arrest at a home on the island.
Upon arriving at the scene, medical personnel confirmed that the person had died. The firefighters then proceeded to guard the body until the arrival of the Local Police, at which point the service was terminated.
