A woman was affected by smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in her home last Saturday on Tisalaya street, in San Bartolomé, according to the Emergency Consortium.

The events occurred around 4:00 PM, at which time the firefighters arrived at the scene. For their part, the Local Police had already closed the street to facilitate access for the officers.

When the firefighters arrived, the fire had already been extinguished by a neighbor and the only occupant of the home was outside, who presented respiratory problems and was attended by the SUC paramedics and later transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The fire affected the kitchen of the home and, after verifying that the temperature dropped to normal parameters, the personnel declared the service finished.
