A man had to be transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital this Friday for smoke inhalation due to a fire that originated in the kitchen of his home in San Bartolomé, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The events occurred on Las Peñas street in the town and when firefighters arrived at the scene, the affected person himself had managed to extinguish the flames with the help of powder extinguishers.
Due to the fire, the kitchen of the house was affected and flooded by smoke. The Local Police of San Bartolomé and the health services appeared at the scene and transferred the man to the hospital.
Finally, the firefighters disconnected the power to prevent a new fire and verified that there were no more active outbreaks.
