Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished the fire in an organic waste container on Sunday night. The events took place at 8:30 p.m. on El Rostro street, in Mala.
The Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) alerted firefighters that there was a container fire in Mala, so they moved to the scene.
Once there, they verified that a neighbor had shot a fire extinguisher at it and there were no flames. Therefore, they proceeded to remove the garbage and pour water on it, and it was also poured on those around it. However, the container was unusable.
The Local Police of Haría were at the scene and took charge of road safety so that the firefighters could work.
