Firefighters rescued a woman injured on a beach near Papagayo this Monday. Around 6:30 p.m. a call alerted Cecoes to the incident. Emergency Consortium personnel from the South Park traveled to the scene and were able to verify that the woman was injured in a leg and could not walk.
The firefighters went down to the sand and after making a first assessment, they proceeded to place her on a stretcher using the Dutch bridge technique and then took her up to the area where the ambulance was located and her subsequent transfer to a health center.
