Firefighters extinguish fire in several containers in Arrecife

A container and a trash can, which were completely burning in the Charco de San Ginés, were rendered unusable

Firefighters extinguish flames in a container in Charco de San Ginés.

Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have extinguished the flames of two containers in Arrecife, as well as a trash can.

The first warning was received at 1:10 a.m., alerted to the fire of a container on León y Castillo street in Valterra. Once at the scene, they verified that the Local Police of the capital had managed to control the fire with the help of a fire extinguisher. After that, they cooled the interior with water. 

Around 2:20 in the morning, they went to the fire of another container on Francos street, in the Charco de San Ginés. Upon arrival in the area, they also extinguished the fire in a trash can. During the intervention, the Local and National Police collaborated. In this case, both were rendered unusable.
