Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have **extinguished a fire** in an **abandoned house** in Arrecife. The incident took place on Océano Atlántico street in Puerto Naos, in the capital of Lanzarote.
After being alerted by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) about a fire in an abandoned dwelling, they proceeded to the area and discovered it was a trash fire inside an old water tank.
The firefighters extinguished the fire with water and foam
The National Police were also present at the scene and collaborated in the operation.
